About Matt Brink

I am a third year Mechanical Engineering student at Michigan Technological University. I have worked at a local engineering company as an intern for three years helping engineers to accomplish their goals, as well as being tasked with my own design jobs. I have worked directly with salespeople, customers, as well as manufacturers in order to deliver the highest quality work possible. My time here has granted me knowledge on the workings of an engineering company, and has bettered me for future employment by allowing me to apply my learnings from my classes at MTU. Previous additional experience includes my time on FIRST Robotics team 5505, where I served as CAD Lead, again working with local manufacturing companies to ensure our success in competition. During my four years on the team, I also drove the robot in competition, leading the team to four district wins, four district finalists, and numerous design and creativity awards. My time on the team has greatly improved my teamwork and problem solving skills, and I was honored to receive my team's nomination for the Deans list award in my final year.
