About Matt Brockwell

Background - Matt is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Oklahoma. His responsibilities include financial operations, human resources, campus facilities, risk management and information technology for the Norman and Tulsa campuses and the OU Health Sciences Campus in Oklahoma City. In his role he also is a member of the Board of Directors of OU Health where he sits on the Finance Committee and chairs the Audit Committee. Matt is also a public company board member and retired PwC partner. He has over 35 years of experience working in and serving financial services firms in the US and abroad – both SEC registered and privately held. His clients included commercial banks, central banks, investment advisers, alternative investment funds, mutual funds, pension funds and university/research endowment funds. Skills & Experience - Having spent extensive time in C-suites and boardrooms, Matt brings the benefit of years of hands-on experience with audit committees and corporate governance, risk management, financial reporting, internal control, information technology, regulatory matters, complex asset valuation, M&A, and fraud/forensic investigations.
