About Matt Bromiley

I am a cybersecurity leader and educator with over 14 years of experience leading incident response efforts and advancing detection and response capabilities across enterprise environments. My career has spanned hands-on operations, high-pressure breach response, and the strategic development of scalable cybersecurity programs. At Prophet Security, I’m part of the Security Research & Development team, with a focus on transforming Security Operations Centers through the use of agentic AI. Our mission is to train intelligent systems capable of conducting thorough investigations, correlating signals across telemetry sources, and enabling analysts to focus on the threats that matter. Our goal: helping organizations modernize detection and response with precision and speed, while reducing overhead and fatigue. I also serve as an instructor with the SANS Institute, delivering advanced training in incident management and host- and network-based incident response. I am passionate about empowering both analysts and executives to thrive in the evolving threat landscape — and I remain committed to mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
