Email: I dare say you have not seen a career like mine! In my decades long career as a Purchasing and Sourcing professional, I have had a great deal of success. I've been particularly successful in driving cost savings, both by negotiation and working cross-functionally on teams to design or redesign products to provide greater value. This has happened with Fortune 500 companies and smaller organizations alike. I have exercised collaboration, decision-making, and cost-control, supporting team efforts and organizational improvements. My inventory and supplier management experience have proven to be effective and motivating, with proficiency in leadership and collaborative work. I also enjoy brainstorming and coordinating efforts to achieve a common goal. Even as a Pastor I worked with many different personalities, motivating a volunteer “work force” toward whatever goal was before us, in addition to my regular duties such as teaching and planning. And I frequently used my business and purchasing acumen to negotiate pricing and delivery on several types of goods and services. I also used my logistics and planning experience daily, and I can honestly say that my time in the church made me a better communicator, manager, and person.
