About Matt Cahill

I am an experienced Workday Solution Architect and Programme Leader with over 20 years of consulting experience delivering large-scale HR transformations across global enterprises. I specialise in designing and leading end-to-end Workday solutions across Core HCM, Talent & Performance, Learning, Skills Cloud and Compensation. Across 40+ global implementations, I have worked with organisations across EMEA, APAC and the Americas to define scalable architectures, optimise operating models, and deliver measurable business outcomes. My strength lies in operating at the intersection of architecture, delivery and business transformation — translating complex requirements into pragmatic, future-proof solutions while maintaining strong governance and programme control. I bring a unique combination of: • Solution architecture leadership across functional and technical domains • Programme and engagement management across global delivery teams • Deep product expertise in Workday HCM and Skills-based organisations • Strong stakeholder engagement at executive and operational levels I have led enterprise initiatives including Skills Cloud transformations, global Talent strategies, Learning ecosystems, and integration architecture redesigns — consistently delivering within complex, multi-country environments. I am particularly passionate about helping organisations transition towards skills-based operating models and unlocking value through data, reporting and workforce insights.
