I took a job cooking in a professional kitchen when I was 25. I tried it out because it had a schedule that worked well with my bands very busy schedule. I played in a band all over the state and surrounding states for 20 years. We played at all the big festivals, recorded at world class studios, and regularly appearded on TV news stations, local magazines, and newspapers. What I didn't plan on was really loving the job of cooking. Once covid hit, my band obviously couldn't play out anymore. The summer of 2020 I had more free time than I had ever had in years, and I loved it. I decided to quit playing in a band so I could focus on growing as a cook.
