Since my first job at a TV station in Michigan, my career has focused on efficient and clear communication under tight deadlines. Today, I lead a talented team of technical writers, instructional designers, and editors at RealPage to create and maintain customer-facing content for over 100 software products that continually release updates and enhancements. Our small team successfully manages and updates a Help Center with 60k+ help pages, 700+ guides, thousands of release notes, learning videos, and support articles. The secrets to our success are simple: efficient tools, consistent processes, and clear and open collaboration with our internal and external customers. My focus for the past five years has been gathering all available technical and learning information and filtering to provide specific information to a customer at just the right time.
