With significant experience within the Higher Education, Health Care and Manufacturing sectors, I have well refined skills and competencies in implementing Lean Systems; eliminating waste; driving Continuous Improvement; managing change; developing Visual Process Management; championing and developing new products for existing and emerging markets; coaching High Performing Teams; and delivering a vast array of successful projects adding significant value to organisations and society as a whole. I am a Science graduate with an MBA in Strategy and Planning, and certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. I am a firm advocate that economic prosperity in Australia may be achieved through innovation, investment in new technologies, investment in people, and elimination of waste through process reengineering. I am focused on the holistic view of value creation within the sustainable organisation, integrating both suppliers and customers in the Borrow-Use-Return paradigm, recognising the value this can deliver to the social, environmental and economic capital of the triple bottom line. With 13 years experience working within private industry, higher education and health care sectors; success has been driven by vision, leadership, vigilant planning, attention to detail, effective research and analysis, stakeholder focus, continuous learning and professionalism, and a proven track record for achieving targets and delivering results.
