Travel and tourism inspires and fascinates me. Its transformative quality has changed me. It has also shaped my career from the beginning. of my 25 year+ journey promoting the travel and tourism experience in the Caribbean, Latin American and the Southeast US. I started Travel Culture Collab in 2019, to offer strategic counsel for hotels and destination marketing organizations, to amplify brand awareness and engage with new consumer audiences and win over more travelers for my clients, which currently include the Sint Maarten Tourism Bureau, Hyatt Inclusive Collection (AMR), Karisma Hotels and Resorts, Grupo Posadas and others. I have been fortunate throughout my career to build my work experience and knowledge working with some of the most recognizable brands in travel and media, including Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Air Jamaica and the Jamaica Tourist Board, The New York Times, Conde Nast and the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, providing solid leadership and revenue growth in dynamic and competitive environments. My current strategic partners include Alliance Connection, Flip.to, Diamond Public Relations,and TruMarketing. I am also supporting the future of the Caribbean tourism and hospitality workforce by assisting to build new strategic partnerships and other sources of support for the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s Education Foundation. The CHTAEF funds scholarships for Caribbean nationals to attend university level hospitality and tourism programs. The Foundation also facilitates development and training programs for working professionals.
