About Matt Corn

I started in the equipment rental industry in at Hertz equipment rental as an Inside Sales Coordinator. After a brief six months, I was hired as a Outside Sales Rep for Sunbelt Rentals in Gastonia, N.C. In 2005 I was given the opportunity to work for Maxim crane in Philadelphia, PA with my father Mike Corn. After 2 years in the Crane industry I realized one very important thing, I was not a Northern Blooded Man! However, looking back, I cherish those two years working with my father because he was unexpectedly called up to the heavens in March 2009, miss ya Dad! In 2007 I returned to the South and moved to Greenville, S.C. where I picked up my 5 year career with Sunbelt Rentals. In 2009 I was given an opportunity to move to Raleigh, N.C. and work for Sunbelt as the Downtown Raleigh, N.C. sales rep and I was able to be closer to my Mother and Sister. I covered the downtown area for Sunbelt until May 2012 when I was given a great opportunity to be the Division Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic division of Volvo Rents. In December 2013 I was then given the opportunity to expand my horizons once again and was named division Sales Manager of the North Atlantic Division of Volvo Rents. As much as I love my new role and new division, one thing remains unchanged. I am still not a Big Fan of the Cold Weather! Stay tuned, more to come.
