About Matt Fellows

Force, weight, and strain measurement can seem simple. Load cells and strain gauges make complex measurements easy—until they don’t. A small error in selection or setup can lead to inaccurate data, wasted money, and plenty of frustration. That’s where I come in.As a Field Sales Engineer at Charcroft Electronics, I help engineers and companies cut through the noise and find measurement solutions that actually work. I don’t just sell sensors—I solve headaches. If I don’t have the answer, I know someone who does. How I Got HereI started my career hands-on, as an Aircraft Engineering Technician in the Royal Navy, working on complex systems where precision mattered. I then moved through aerospace quality and test roles before stepping into applications engineering at TecQuipment. That’s where I had my lightbulb moment—I loved solving problems, but even more than that, I loved working directly with customers. That led me into sales, where I’ve spent years refining my expertise in force and strain measurement. I’ve worked with distributors, manufacturers, and engineers to ensure that customers get the right solution the first time. What I BelieveI believe in making sure my customers don’t waste money on the wrong products. I believe in cutting through complexity, asking the right questions, and making life easier for engineers who already have enough challenges to deal with. And I believe sales should be about solving problems—not just hitting numbers.Let’s talk. If you’re dealing with a force or strain measurement challenge, I’d love to help!
