About Matt Ferguson

I am a self motivated, loyal individual who loves to work with people and solve problems. For the last 22 years I've worked in the pest control industry and for the last 16 years I have been with Rainbow Pest Experts. I have seen every aspect of this industry. Rainbow Pest Experts was a brand new division of a larger Tree Services Company when I began my employment. I started as a route technician providing quality service to our clients. By displaying my ability to excel in service & sales I was promoted to Production Manager, in charge of training our technical team to provide consistent, effective results while still achieving our financial & production objectives. Once we out grew that early organizational structure I was promoted to Operations Manager in charge of all day to day production and sales activities as well as the short and long term budgeting. Finally after we out grew that organizational structure I was promoted to Divisional General Manager in charge of the Pest Management Division. This role gave me full accountability for the success of the Division including; Training/coaching (Sales & Services), Staffing, Strategic Planning, Short & long-term Budgeting, Cost Management & Team Building. Our Division has grown every year we've been in business starting in 2004 with revenues over $2M annually. I am most proud of the strong team culture I was able to help build while working at Rainbow, I believe our people are our most valuable asset and it is vital that everyone who I work with know they are valued.
