About Matt Gallagher

I've spent my career in technology, manufacturing, automation and engineering environments, moving from hands on engineer to sales, sales management, P&L management and eventually executive leadership and M&A in sales focused organizations. I've been inspired by the people that love to use technology to make things work better, faster, more precise, more efficient etc. Keeping industry competitive in my backyard has given me tremendous pride and motivation throughout my career. My technology strengths lie in Robotics, Controls, Networking, Automation Products and Systems. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the best names in field and have been able to bring some fantastic firms together through M&A and integration. I've had great success leveraging the strengths across platform businesses and have been able to create organizations through M&A that are truly something new and greater than the sum of their parts. I still consider myself a sales person at heart, and I love working with sales teams and customers, especially when I can see how we make a factory, process or machine better through our efforts, and make a customer more competitive as a result. My experiences in quality and lean practices have given me a strong focus on developing organizational systems and processes that deliver repeatable results and focus for my teams. I've had great success in building systems, tools and metrics that drive focus on key deliverables for the organization including: sales growth, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, margin improvement. I still believe in hiring and developing the right people for the team, but I also believe in creating systems as a framework to help everyone have an opportunity to be a superstar for the customer and organization.
