About Matt Glowiak

Matt Glowiak, PhD, LCPC, CAADC, NCC is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). He is Clinical Mental Health Counseling Core Faculty at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and contributing faculty with Yorkville University and Walden University. Matt has an emerging record of scholarship as outlined through refereed journal publications, magazine and newsletter articles, textbook chapters, national presentations, and television appearances. He is committed to counselor and client advocacy as evidenced through his leadership roles in multiple flagship organizations and community service within others. He is currently Chair of the Chi Sigma Iota International (CSI) Counselor Community Engagement Committee (CCE) and Secretary of NCACES as well as a past CSI International Leadership Fellow, Past President of CSI Omega Zeta Chapter, and Past President of the Chicago Counseling Association. Further, he is working on a local television program,"Mental Health Matters with Dr. Matt," which provides insights into ways to attain and maintain mental wellness.
