Matt Goodwin is from Atlanta, GA. He graduated from The Westminster Schools in 1991 and from Duke University in 1995. Matt served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps from He was assigned to 2nd Battalion 5th Marines, the Corps’ most decorated battalion. He has been married to his treasured wife, Ashley, for over 23 years. Together, they are blessed to have 5 vibrant children - Caleb, Eli, Naomi, Hannah and Rebecca. Matt is an avid University of Georgia football fan, a wine collector, and a foodie. He is passionate about cooking and does everything from smoked barbecue to sous-vide pork tenderloin to Asian fusion to Italian. Matt enjoys hunting and fishing. He loves the western Rockies, and his favorite state to visit is Montana. He and Ashley dream about having a home there someday. Matt and his family attend Passion City Church, and they actively support several local, national, and international ministries. Matt joined the Northwestern Mutual in January of He is the Co-Founder of Fidelis Private Wealth Partners, a boutique wealth strategy and financial planning firm based in Atlanta, GA.
