As an experienced in-house counsel with 20 years in the investment management industry, I bring deep expertise in retail and institutional investment funds, regulatory compliance, and product innovation. My practice spans a wide range of areas, including fund development, disclosure, governance, contract negotiation and investment compliance, as well as navigating complex regulatory landscapes. I take pride in playing a pivotal role in groundbreaking initiatives, such as serving as lead counsel for Canada’s first interval fund and liquid alternatives fund. These projects required not only legal acumen but also strategic vision to guide them from concept to launch.
