About Matt Graves

As an Engineer at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC (RES), I apply my 25 years of experience and credentials in civil and environmental engineering, project management, and geology to deliver effective and sustainable solutions for stormwater and erosion control projects. I have a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and Certificates in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Louisville, as well as a Professional Geologist license and an OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification. I evaluate the stormwater management needs for various projects and scope the services to meet the specific client requirements. I prepare and review plans for erosion prevention, sediment control, and stormwater pollution prevention, and manage the local and state approval process. I also design and inspect green infrastructure, conduct floodplain and floodway permitting and modeling, and develop grading plans and construction specifications. I am skilled in using software such as HEC-RAS and TR-55 for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. I am passionate about protecting the environment and enhancing the quality of life for the communities I serve.
