About Matt Guyette

As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it’s important to invest my time in understanding what is most important to you and what you’re working toward before you invest your money. It's also important to understand the level of risk you're comfortable accepting when investing, so we can balance it with the steps necessary to reach your long-term goals. At Edward Jones, we use an established 5-step process to help build personalized strategies and solutions to help you reach your goals. My commitment to my clients is to always put them first and have their best interest at heart. I view our relationship as a partnership and not just a business transaction. This allows for us to work as a team over your lifetime to help keep you on track in reaching your goals. We are in this together!I joined Edward Jones in 2018 and have been a financial advisor for the past 13 years. I'm originally from the Yakima Valley area in Washington. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, playing both football and baseball while earning my bachelor's degree in biology. I've lived in Oregon for over 20 years, with the last four years in South Salem. I'm most proud of my two sons: Noah (19), who's currently attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on a baseball scholarship, and Liam (8), an active 2nd Grader at Pringle Elementary. I'm an avid sports fan and enjoy spending time with my family, while taking an active role in my sons' various sporting events through coaching and volunteering. I am also passionate about my involvement within the Senior Services community in the Salem/Keizer area.
