It’s no secret that I’ve been around the block a few times. I’ve had a long and quite varied career. I’ve also had some quite massive directional changes throughout my working life. New, unfamiliar territory is something that never really fazed me. I’ve learned to learn fast. From selling used cars off a derelict brewery parking lot in northern England – being the youngest field sales rep ever employed by the world’s largest FMCG corporation, pioneering a US new business start-up in the medical equipment sector that became market segment leader within three years, to helping pharma giants see into the future, through the eyes of their clients. Yup, I’ve been around the block. My varied business experience has taught me a few things that shape the way I work: • I listen hard and am not afraid to ask questions • If I’m 100% certain I have solved the problem, I almost certainly haven’t • Be kind and respectful, but stay persistent – if it doesn’t work one way, switch gears and try another • I use my personality to encourage others to do the same • I love humor and use it carefully but as liberally as that care allows • Be loyal - stay loyal • Know the difference between risk and recklessness Today, I work with high volume/high growth dealer partners throughout North America to maximize their marketing and sales potential, based on my years of experience in this dynamic and rapidly growing business sector. When I’m not working/traveling, I just love to be at home with my wife who was also my childhood sweetheart. My guilty pleasure is my frankly ridiculous Dodge Challenger and my devotion to the most awful team in the entire NFL.
