About Matt Harrison

I am a hardworking, diligent, and self-motivated student athlete both in the classroom and the pool. Being self-motivated in the classroom, I set high standards and expectations for my work’s quality as well as maximizing my time management in order to effectively balance my school and practice schedule. In the pool, I am hardworking, determined, and selfless since the sport of water polo has molded me into a genuine team player that focuses on the team’s success above my own. Over the years of water polo, I have learned to be coachable by accepting and internalizing critiques on my game in order to constantly improve, which directly helps in my school work and as a business professional because I am constantly searching for feedback to help myself grow and improve in whatever it is I am doing. Outside of the pool and classroom, I passionately enjoy photography and surfing. Being able to go into the world and take photos provides me with a creative release, similar to how water polo allows for a physical releasee of stress. I appreciate my passion for photography and surfing because it provides me with creative and relaxing alternatives to my busy school and practice schedule.
