Manage and maintain a campus infrastructure consisting of 240+ buildings, 300+ wiring closets across a 19 mile campus encompassing approxiametly acres and growing which is utilize by 1,600+ staff and 1,800+ students with PC’s and 90+ servers. This makes up roughly 70 percentage of the total nodes on campus. Design and architecture of inside/outside cabling plant systems associated with site and building construction. Security via 802.1x, IDS, Policy and Layer2/Layer3 designs that allows for policy on non-policy devices. Data Center operations and consolidations working with Microsoft, Netware and VMWare server technologies. Intelligent building systems integration with data network infrastructure (Building Automation [Gas, Electric, HVAC, etc…], Security systems [access and surveillance], Emergency campus-wide paging system, Clock systems, etc… Specialties: Network Design Layer 1/2/3/4 Network Equipment: Cisco, Enterasys, 3Com, Juniper, Foundry, Nortel, Aruba Server OS's: ESX VMWare, Windows Enterprise Server and Netware Core Infrastructure Services: RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, etc.
