About Matt Hoffmann

Proficient in Sales, Product/Research, Marketing, Public Speaking, and Networking "How can I help you?" I pursued a career in sales for the sole purpose of helping other people get what they need. But, I also got into sales to make money through developing relationships! In my sales experience I noticed a common trait to a repeat customer. Furthermore, it is so simple everyone can do it. Use this principle "Ask, Listen then Follow-up" whenever you're introduced to a prospective customer. I will provide two scenarios of how you can introduce this practice. Whether your prospective client is coming to you, or you are going to them. When I worked in retail I sold cigars to eager smokers. Once you introduced yourself try not to get carry away with chit chat. Learn from the customer's why and what from being at your store. After listening, I would pitch 3 options explaining how each stick would best fit their need.
