About Matt Joyce

My role in esports and games involves thinking creatively and applying solutions in a professional team environment. Under the alias of "Danog", I am a professional commentator and analyst for Dota 2 and Battle Royale games, with extensive international tournament and live event experience. In my most recent full-time role, I was part of a team in the education sector that focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (students, staff, alumni, & community) to create mutually beneficial outcomes. At the moment, I am self-employed, providing consulting work in the areas of leadership, information delivery, and project management. I am a Master of Genetic Counselling graduate that has worked under pressure in a variety of different surroundings and roles to consistently produce work of the highest standard, receiving several awards and recognition for my research and capabilities. My leadership philosophy is one that is centred on creating a positive and vibrant culture for my colleagues and I to both excel. I possess tremendous motivation and self-belief that enables me to create a platform for my teams and peers to consistently deliver brilliant results. My high attention to detail and desire to identify best practices enables me to drive improved efficiency within any environment that I am in. I pride myself on can successfully determining the requirements of end-users due to my personal approach of putting myself in their shoes.
