About Matt K.

Brands people truly believe in are built much deeper in the business, they’re woven into the very fabric of the organisation, creating enormous, sometimes hidden, benefits to the business and teams that operate them. That’s the space I’m interested in: the behavioural economics of brand and how it shapes a business from the inside out.Since starting out in brand, I have become increasingly fascinated by the difference between brands that simply exist and brands that people genuinely believe in and what actually makes that happen. I’ve worked across B2C and B2B, helping businesses understand themselves and creating design systems that express that truth out into the world. Founding KISS has been my way of taking that further – learning in practice and building a brand of my own that people can believe in.Through KISS, I work closely with leadership teams, getting inside businesses to shape brand strategy and execution – avoiding the generic sentiment and leaning into what’s real, distinct and genuinely theirs.
