About Matt Kaiser

Matt Kaiser is a dedicated marketing professional that honed his skills in the broadcast radio industry, mastering the dynamic balance between the sales and programming sides of the industry. Because of his unique drive and ability, he succeeded in several markets well beyond expectations in both arenas. Combining a knack for digital and social media with a strong reverence for terrestrial radio and an expansive knowledge of marketing and consumer behavior, Matt developed a command on the industry typically only found in veterans twice his senior. He has developed long-lasting relationships with clients and station partners, held training workshops for employees, and planned large scale events. In late 2023, he transitioned out of radio, becoming the marketing manager for Refrigeration Sales Corporation in Valley View (Cleveland,) Ohio. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and earned his Masters Degree in Telecommunications Management from Ohio University where his research focused on interrelationships among radio programming, telecommunication laws and regulations and management. He also completed additional course work in marketing, human resource management, and engineering. He was asked to co-author the music radio chapter of the 9th edition of “Media Programming: Strategies and Practices” with Dr. Greg Newton of Ohio University, and the work is one of the preeminent texts used for teaching for broadcast programming in colleges and universities across North America. The 9th edition of the book was published in March 2012, and the revision for the 10th edition is forthcoming. Matt has been extremely successful in leading departments and organizations, and is consistently utilized in workshops, college classrooms, and training seminars on a variety of topics ranging from media to leadership and organizational behavior.
