About Matt Kollath

30 years at John Deere, started on a forklift, then Punch Press, after a few years assembly then back out to create a Punch Press Training Program. Taught that for several years then went to a scheduling position assisting supervision. When that opportunity ended, I was moved to experimental then chose to go back to assembly until I had the opportunity to start the Journeyman Mechanic Program where I am today. While working at John Deere I have worked at other jobs: Kyle's Weld and Fabrication which is a business that I owned doing Roofing and welding repair work. I also worked at Old Fashion Cheese as a Maintenance Utility Employee (repairing whatever I could). While in the Air Force, I had the opportunity to be stationed at Wallace Air Base in the Philippines, Bangor Maine (Active-duty group on the BANG Base), OSAN Air Base South Korea, and Tyndall Air Force Base Florida. While in the Air force part-time work included Bangor Intl Airport refueling and ramp services and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Prior to the Air Force I worked Construction for my father whenever he needed me, Test Driver for Force Outboards (Hartford, WI) and Warehouse Clerk for ShopKo Store inc.
