I started Zitronen Consulting after seeing too many business owners feel misled, frustrated, and—frankly—scared. Their books were a mess. They couldn’t get loans. They were getting letters from the IRS. And the firms they trusted weren’t delivering. Zitronen is different. We provide strategic bookkeeping, fractional CFO services, and other accounting services to small and mid-sized businesses that want to stop flying blind and start making confident decisions. I empower clients to not only clean up their books but also understand them. When you understand your numbers, you unlock the power to lead your business forward. By day, I serve as an Assistant Finance Director. But on nights, weekends, and every spare minute, I’m actively growing Zitronen Consulting. This is more than a side business—it’s a mission. I’m building something meaningful, sustainable, and personal. My path to this work hasn’t been typical. I wasn’t expected to go to college, let alone get a degree in accounting or lead in this space. But I did. And I run Zitronen with the same grit, empathy, and precision I bring to everything in life—whether it’s managing a budget, smoking meats, or traveling the world.
