About Matt Lapointe

I’m a Contracting Officer and Acquisition Leader who believes that great results in government contracting come from strong teams, clear communication, and a shared sense of purpose. Over the past decade, I’ve helped guide federal acquisition efforts that support both construction and operational missions—turning complex requirements into well-defined, executable contracts that deliver lasting value. At the U.S. Property and Fiscal Office for New Hampshire, I wear many hats and recently served as the Acting Chief of Contracting, leading and mentoring a talented group of contracting professionals. I’m deeply invested in developing people—creating an environment where questions are encouraged, policies make sense, and every team member understands how their work advances the mission. My leadership philosophy is simple: stay grounded in the mission, empower others to succeed, and never lose sight of integrity in the process. I also serve with the New Hampshire Air National Guard, where I’ve supported contingency operations overseas and strengthened my perspective on what service and accountability truly mean.Whether in uniform or as a civilian leader, I take pride in helping teams navigate complex challenges, build trust across organizations, and deliver acquisition outcomes the mission can depend on.
