About Matt Levy

Matt Levy is a partner at Kanner & Pintaluga in Boca Raton, FL, where he has worked since February 2021. He has practiced law in Florida since 1995 in the areas of serious personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability litigation. For the last 30 years, he has handled over personal injury cases and has forged a reputation as a fearsome trial attorney. Mr. Levy is known for his meticulous preparation, attention to detail, uncanny memory, handling of defense experts, and courtroom presence. In 2003, at the age of only 33, he became Board Certified in Civil Trial, one of the highest distinctions in the practice of law, a status that less than 3% of all Florida lawyers have. Mr. Levy was one of the first lawyers, if not the first, in his graduating class to become board certified in any field. He was re-certified by the Florida Bar in 2008, 2013, 2018, and 2023. Mr. Levy has tried over 50 personal injury jury trials, mainly first chair. Of those, he has won numerous million dollar verdicts and recoveries. This includes verdicts of $10.68 million,$4.5 million and $3 million, and recoveries of $1.6 million,$1.4 million, and $1.2 million (twice). He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, of which there are only members. Mr. Levy is AV rated (preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbel, its highest possible rating. He was voted into Florida Super Lawyers from 2014-2024, into ABOTA in 2015, and into Trend Magazine’s Florida Legal Elite in 2019-2022. Mr. Levy has commanded the utmost respect from his peers. Mr. Levy was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. Mr. Levy attended the University of Delaware from 1987-1991 where he obtained his BA in Political Science. In 1991, he attended Nova Southeastern University Law School, graduating in 1994.
