Hello, my name is Matt Luse and I am currently a S-130, S-130 and L-180 certified wildland firefighter for The State of Tennessee Department of Agriculture's Forestry Division. My main duties during the fire season relate to suppression and containment of wildfires in Hamilton County and Sequatchie County. Other duties consist of performing water quality tests, maintaining heavy machinery and assisting in disaster relief. I also am an experience trail builder with the Cumberland Trails Conference. I have assisted with construction and maintenance of the Piney River, Morgan Creek and North Chickamauga Creek sections of the Cumberland trail and gained significant knowledge related to sustainable trail building and environmental protection.
