About Matt Manahan

I have worked as part of a supply chain since 2006. My first role was as both Production Planner & Purchasing Agent at a leather goods manufacturer in rural North Carolina for 13 years. In 2019, I decided to expand my career by moving to a larger manufacturer in Wake County, where I focus on production planning. This has involved being hands-on with scheduling and the manufacturing process. I work with multiple departments on a daily basis, including Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering. I enjoy being a part of a team of other Planners, where we support each other and share a knowledge base. Even though my official job title is Production Planner, I am considered one of the senior planners, and I'm one of the top producers of planned orders in our department. I value reliability, honesty, efficiency, and productivity in myself, and my goal is to work with a group of people who share these same values.
