About Matt Martenson

I'm a lifelong PNW person that just can't help but learn to love each new place I discover. They're all special in their own ways you just gotta look! As a Landscape Architect I bring this curiosity and love of learning to each project, trying to find the right combination of design approach, complexity, materiality, and the full range of awesomeness intensity from 'it works great' to 'what the $ & @#, I need to experience that again' that honors each place and the people that use it. To get this done, I employ a collaborative approach leaning on, trusting, leading, and following disciplines from biologists to artists to structural engineers. As a project manager I bring all these specialists together so we can learn, share, and break down the ordinary disciplinary barriers to be our best selves. I'm a multi hat wearer. Craft enthusiast, REVIT guru, conference presenter, deadline fireman, trusted advisor, introvert, construction document artist, bringer of visions to life; those are just a few. The new experiences are what keep me going, the love of craft and detail connects them all, and a curiousness of each unique place is what keeps my heart in it.
