Matt O’Connell is a hands-on global leader, seasoned orthodontics sales executive, and former bi-lingual educator. He is an expert in international finance and distribution channels, navigating multi-national regulatory and legal environments, and establishing a culture of continuous improvement based on clear metrics and accountability. Mr. O’Connell’s international business experience includes global pricing strategies, operations and P&L responsibilities, market segmentation strategies and execution, global sales cycle methodology, business processes and systems, and building highly successful, geographically dispersed orthodontic sales teams. As VP Sales for Swift Health Systems, Mr. O’Connell is responsible for creating, executing and managing sales strategies that drive increased sales and profitability for INBRACE, while building out the company’s sales, training, and educational resources for long-term domestic and international growth. Prior to joining Swift Health Systems, Mr. O’Connell held a variety of executive leadership positions in the orthodontic industry. He was president of VITA North America; VP global sales for Ormco B. V; and VP EMEA operations, VP global sales and managing director, Ormco Europe. Prior to Ormco, Mr. O’Connell spent nine years with Sybron Dental Specialties managing sales and marketing operations in Latin America.
