Creating positive gatherings is my passion. I love diverse people, food, and beverages. Leading restaurant strategies and operations is a great way to create memories, inspire staff, understand customer appeal, drive improvements, think strategically while focusing on details, use organization skills, problem solve, and remain responsive to daily needs. Labor and food are the two most significant costs for most restaurants. That’s why I hire talent, provide training, align goals, and monitor quality. I also implement cost containment strategies, embrace technology, manage budgets, watch market trends, advertise, and focus on guest services. Balancing all of these aspects generates repeat and loyal customers. While I am a leader, I’m not shy about contributing in any role to support the team and uphold customer satisfaction. Stating at a young age, I helped in my family’s catering business, and over the years, I have gained experience in roles such as dishwasher, server, cook, bartender, manager, sommelier, general manager, and proprietor. Retaining talented employees is invaluable. I ensure customer satisfaction and secure employee loyalty by welcoming diversity, building trusting relationships, communicating, educating, and streamlining processes. My contributions include increasing sales 63% annually, updating dining and catering menus to include scratch-made and locally sourced options, reducing overall operating costs through contract negotiations, and empowering employees to provide superior customer service. The restaurant and hospitality business is rewarding and tough, and it’s where I want to be every day.
