About Matt Oswald

Highly experienced and motivated multi-disciplinary Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years in a wide variety of roles and responsibilities with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I know mechanical, electrical, electronics, and computers. I'm the first one to grab a wrench and dive headfirst into an issue - I don't mind getting dirty! I'm also just as comfortable grabbing a meter and sorting out issues with complicated electrical systems or grabbing a soldering iron and repairing a circuit board. Something needs formed out of metal? Welded? Brazed? Machined? I'll bring it back to my shop and do it myself if I have to - I have better equipment here at my shop most of the time. I am a true problem solver regardless of the discipline - and if I'm not familiar I research and teach myself. I have really enjoyed the opportunities I have had as I've grown older to be a mentor to the various employees that have worked around me. I like to use every opportunity as a teaching moment - whether it's discussing thermodynamics, putting together a prototype unit, or just figuring out how to use a new tool with the guys on the floor - Learn for life and teach when you can is my mantra!
