I have been in the A/V industry since I have worked installing Home theaters, whole home audio, DirecTv systems, and car audio. At my current job I have Installed, configured, programed, and serviced commercial and Pro A/V & Control systems. I have worked on A/V systems ranging from church houses, to k-12 classrooms and intercom, to corporate conference and boardrooms, to auditoriums and football fields. I have programmed control systems from, small collaboration rooms, to large divisible training rooms, to Court rooms. Basically if it has any Audio or Video more than likely I can work on it. From the 2015-2020 I was our commercial and pro AV service contact. Taking service calls, writting up service tickets, doing the service work and billing the service calls. During that same time I’ve been out Crestron control system programmer. Creating the touch panel for end user (finding that balance between making the system simple to use but not limiting it for the end user), and building the behind the scenes control programming. I’ve controlled anything from projectors and displays, to video switches, to video wall processors, to audio control processors, to lighting and window shades. I’ve found that with enough time, research and tenacity I can control about anything using a Crestron control system. In the beginning of 2020 I moved over to our project engineering department (to go along with my crestron programming). As a project engineer I help with sales to design systems to accomplish what the customer is looking for. I also look over projects that have been designed that we are bidding on and make sure the original design didn’t miss anything. I also work with our drafters to create submittal, construction, and as built drawings throughout the different stages of the projects. I also work with the project manager to coordinate any part changes that need to happen (from change orders or discontinued equipment) and al programming and equipment configuration needs for my projects.
