Incredible opportunity working at the Pentagon in the National Security Law Division regularly advising generals and other senior staff members on a litany of different matters. Worked in the legal arena for 20 plus years including time prior to this current position as an Asylum and Adjudication Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During my legal career, I also represented soldiers and the government while working for the Army JAG Corps in areas ranging from Law of War to violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. In addition to the broad spectrum legal work done with the JAG Corps, have also been immersed as a claims attorney specializing in professional liability defense. Broad range of legal skills honed in the military coupled with an ability to deep-dive into specific areas of law makes for a strong candidate legal positions in a variety of professional work environments.
