About Matt Ragland

Matt began his career in toy design for Applause Inc. in 1998, working with many international clients on a number of powerhouse entertainment brands including Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and the Muppets. For the few years following that position, Matt served as an independent consultant and designer for a handful of toy and gift companies including Pop Rocket Toys, Disney, and MGA. As he advanced his skills and experience, Matt moved on to become Senior Art Director for Equity Marketing. For over six years, he was responsible for turnkey product design, developing promotional campaigns, and building relationships with such companies as Kellogg’s, Burger King and Kraft. In his current role as CDM’s Senior Art Director, Matt continues to build on his thousands of product concepts and promotional campaigns while developing and strengthening the creative integrity of the company. Matt holds his B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and still finds inspiration from Legos.
