About Matt Register

Positioning CEOs and business owners to maximize their brand and their business so they can grow, merge or sell are at the center of what I do at Corporate Finance Associates and Texas Business Radio. As the third generation in a Houston-based family business, I added systems and updated operational process to grow the business from eight to thirty-five million in revenue and then position the company for their next phase under new leadership. Having expertise as an owner informs how I work with current clients, especially those in industrial manufacturing. My insight as an owner combined with an in-depth knowledge of finance, marketing and sales enable me to guide clients as they make smart decisions about the future of their business. As infantry commander in the Army in my early career, I learned to lead and adjust rather than wait for the perfect timing and miss the opportunity. This experience cultivated my entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to dive in, get the job done and continually move projects forward. I co-launched Texas Business Radio so CEOs and business owners all over Texas could share their stories, successes, and setbacks with potential clients, investors, and employees. Today, Texas Business Radio reaches more than 1.8 million listeners weekly. My goal whether for a Corporate Finance Associate client or Texas Business Radio is to help CEOs maximize the value of their business; the business they may have started from the ground up, for a larger opportunity.
