About Matt Regnier

Utilizing my experience gathered from the last 15 years in the industry, I have enjoyed working with clients of all sizes to find the ideal solution to the task at hand. Whether it be small upgrades to an existing traffic signal to bring the intersection up to ADA compliance or working with a team to reconstruct a downtown corridor, I enjoy the process of interacting with the client to identify what is needed. I am experienced in Roadway and Traffic Engineering design and project management work including: traffic signal design, fiber optic systems design, and traffic studies. My roadway design skillset includes large team project management and a practical design skillset in horizontal geometric roadway design, while preparing project submittals and proposals for work. One of my specialties and passions is roundabout design. I have designed roundabout of all shapes and setting across the state of Wisconsin, working with both local and state level staff. I am designated a level 2 roundabout designer (QRD2) in the state of Wisconsin. Having completed dozens of projects for private, municipal, and government clients, I am familiar with what it takes to efficiently complete a project with each client. Always seeking to improve my skill set, I have achieved certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and recently as a Road Safety Professional (RSP). Working as a civil engineer, the ultimate observer of my work is the general public, and I believe it is important to provide work that is efficient, safe, and of benefit to the communities where it occurs.
