About Matt Rose

As a seasoned U.S. Air Force Veteran, Department of Defense contractor, and successful craft brewery owner, I offer 33+ years of pioneering expertise in aerospace, UAVs, and program management. With a track record of managing multi-million dollar UAVs in combat and domestic operations, along with air traffic control and aerial refueling experience, I am eager to leverage my extensive education and background to drive innovation in unmanned technologies, surveillance, and autonomous systems. My formal education includes a Master in Business Administration M.B.A. from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. I have led teams in groundbreaking projects, integrating and procuring VOIP radio technology with the FAA Communications system and developing a successful Mid Air Collision Avoidance (MACA) program. Pioneered the groundbreaking integration of UAVs into the national airspace, enhancing emergency response capabilities, and saving lives, property, and US forestry land. Served as both a scheduling and standards/evaluations program manager of over 70 Air Force aircrew personnel providing strategic guidance to ensure seamless coordination for operational wartime UAV combat sorties and domestic operations. Some of my more notable achievements and awards are the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, multiple Aerial Achievement Medals, and Commendation Medal during combat operations in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation New Dawn, Northern Watch, and Southern Watch campaigns. In addition to having an extensive Air Force background, I am a thriving brewery owner and entrepreneur, managing brewing operations, staff, and tasting room while driving growth and brand recognition. In my spare time, I serve as a California beach club board member, managing operations, strategic planning, and member experience, ensuring satisfaction for over 500 households through tailored services and financial planning.
