About Matt Ryan

Software Engineering Team Lead, experienced in leading both Development and Test teams. I am passionate about driving continuous improvement to our ways of working, processes, strategies and capabilities to make sure that we always provide the best possible experience for our audience. I am a big advocate for knowledge sharing. I have been actively involved in building and running a test community at the BBC, and engaging with testers from other companies. I have also spoken at the National Software Testing conference on the subject of test communities. My background includes an extensive experience of software and systems testing across different industries and technologies. I am adept at managing both teams and projects but also retain the ability to perform technical hands on work. I have ISEB and APMP certifications, along with great experience of working in Agile environments. I am extremely driven to achieve results and always seek to develop myself further. I adapt to new roles and projects very quickly and I am a strong addition to any team.
