A versatile Project / Contract / Technical Manager with an established portfolio of over 18 years total experience; 4 years in bridges, road, and port projects; 10 years in water, wastewater, and solid waste projects; and 3 years in rail / road bridge design. A professional civil engineer in South Africa (PrEng MSAICE) and a chartered civil engineer in the UK (CEng MICE), with MEng (Hons) degree. Has progressed in both consulting, for 9 years with Mott MacDonald, and contracting, for 8 years with CMC di Ravenna, most recently on the award winning Mt Edgecombe Interchange. Experienced in construction project and contract management, technical and design management, construction supervision, and commercial bidding on medium and large regional and international infrastructure projects. Conversant with ‘traditional’ and ‘design and build’ contract forms; NEC3 (5yrs), FIDIC (8yrs). Has ventured in Mozambique, Lesotho, and South Africa on worthwhile water and infrastructure projects, following early experience in the UK. Aspirations to manage exciting large scale projects being both beneficial to human development and sustainable in their enhancement / neutral effect to nature. A British national, 40 years old, with working proficiency in the Portuguese language, and basic knowledge in the Italian language. Married, since 2015, with two beloved young daughters.
