I am a Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional with over twenty years of experience in electrical engineering, project management, facility operations and most recently in nuclear facility decommissioning. My current role with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories as Gentilly-1 Decommissioning Manager entails developing project strategies and plans, contracting of decommissioning services, oversight and execution of work in the facility, and project performance monitoring and reporting. The Gentilly-1 facility is a shutdown heavy water moderated boiling water prototype CANDU reactor located in Becancour, Quebec. Within my role at Abbott Point of Care I am responsible for the entire electrical power system for a sq-ft medical device manufacturing facility. I support daily operations and lead improvement project planning and implementation in a highly specialized and strictly regulated organization. During my roles at Atomic Energy of Canada I have been responsible for strategic planning, risk assessment, and project prioritization and execution in support of the NRU reactor and the Molybdenum-99 isotope production facility. I have a successful track record of delivering full project lifecycle results meeting facility operating requirements while balancing business needs and constraints. My role at Toromont CAT allowed me to build in-depth experience in emergency power for life safety and remote prime power applications. I’ve designed, built and commissioned numerous electrical power generation and distribution systems. I am an excellent communicator with outstanding leadership credentials.
