Looking through my career – which has spanned sales, operations and executive leadership roles - I recognize that the common thread running through all of these experiences is a passion for taking a blank slate and filling it with strategies or solutions that unlock value and drive breakthrough performance for our customers. My experience as a leader of a multidisciplinary team with projects and customers from 15 nations on 4 continents endorse my solid knowledge of the global market and worldwide trends.I enjoy working with our customers to conceptualize new products and bringing them to market. Much like strategy formation, my approach to product development begins with researching (quantitatively and qualitatively) the customer to gain an intimate understanding of their needs, desires and pain points. From there, I am actively involved in developing product prototypes, smoothing our manufacturing processes and building go-to-market plans. There is nothing more gratifying than launching a new product and seeing our customers respond positively.The best laid strategies do not matter if an organization struggles to execute. It was once said that “strategy without a plan is only wishful thinking” and I completely agree. This is magnified when implementations are global in nature and must be managed by international teams. As a builder and leader of global teams, I take the time to create thorough implementation plans, provide the necessary training and offer on-going support to ensure optimal execution.
