I am a professional cornet/trumpet player. I have performed with Phil Smith, Rex Richardson, Jon Faddis, Bill Watrous, Chico Freeman, John Pizzarelli, Steven Mead, and others. I have also performed at the ITG Conference in Grand Rapids in 2013 and with the Chicago Brass Band in Kerkrade, Netherlands in 2013. I am the 2011 NABBA Solo Cornet Adult Technical Champion and 2019 3rd place Adult Slow Melody. I was also named outstanding cornet at the 2019 Dublin (OH) Festival of Brass. Currently I am principal cornet with the Five Lakes Silver Band and the Mountain Town Brass. I am also a member of the Michigan Jazz Trail and Rhythm Society Orchestra.
