About Matt Taylor

40 years experience in the Industry. 3 Continents and 3 paradyne shifts within the industry ands still learning. From as early as I can remember leadership has been a passion, not as self promotion, but to champion those around me towards the greater. I left school in1983 at year 10 to pursue the skilled trades. Completed my Australian Trade Certification in 1988, having achieved Apprentice of the year in the state of Queensland. Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician Trade took me to, London England where I worked in the trade for 12 months. Returning to Australia, I volunteered with Youth With A Mission for 3 years. Developed my leadership skills and public speaking/teaching while with this non prof Christian organisation. Traveled and volunteered in Indonesia and Westcoast of the USA. Moved to Canada in 1995 to marry Leanne. Attained my Truck and Coach Technician Certification and AZ licence. Worked for Truck Repair facilities in Thunder Bay Ontario. Opened a brand new Dealership facility with Western Star in Dryden Ontario in 1998. Facilitated a building program with a privately run repair facility in 2003. Managed Two private contractor repair shops connected to the forestry industry. Maintaining various pieces of machinery and a fleet. Facilitated the open of a New Business in Dryden. Peterbilt Dryden. As service manager I have developed a customer base and a strong repair team. I'm passionate about heading into the unknown with groups or teams, to pioneer ideas. My skill set puts me towards the front of the line, encouraging others along.
