I am a passionate advocate for those experiencing, and in recovery from, addiction, mental and behavioural health issues. In parallel to my own experiences as an individual in long term recovery, I am an active engineer for change in reducing stigma, increasing prevention and accessibility of ethical, accountable and affordable help, building resilience, improved communication and education, and community. I am a Holistic Coaching Practitioner accredited with EMCC Global, and Addiction Professionals, and a fully qualified mediator with London School of Mediation and National Family Mediation. As a Recovery Practitioner and Support Coordinator I specialise in complex situations, and have provided services to numerous individuals in general practice as well as specialising in the entertainment and sports Industries since 2013 via Bulbarrow Consultants and Attune. I have extensive experience travelling with my clients during times of vulnerability when work commitments cannot be avoided, or providing safe passage to treatment facilities internationally. I have been facilitating dispute resolution within the creative industries since 2013, and I work as an advocate and mentor for individuals experiencing mental health, addiction or neurodiversity difficulties. I'm a co-founder and currently Chair Of Trustees of the charity Music Support which provides help and support to those in the UK music industry with addiction and mental health issues. I am a Marketing and Communications freelancer with the national charity Forward Trust. I have worked in the music industry since 1991 first in record labels then in management, and as Mediator / Recovery Coach since 2013. I am a public speaker and panellist who establishes empathy and creates a connection with audiences, inviting them to view the subject matter from my non-didactic, experience-based perspective.
