About Matt Ward

Matt is a Logic X Pro Apple Certified Trainer, Record Label Founder and Modular Synthesiser enthusiast who leads our Electronic Music Production BA (Hons) course at our Plymouth Centre in Devon, UK. Matt started his career as a DJ holding down lengthy residencies across clubland and radio spinning Miami WMC, Asia, Berlin, London and a 12 year residency at the #1 club in the South West of England playing with DJs like Carl Cox and cameo appearances headlining Arcadia at Glastonbury. Highlights include hosting a Saturday night radio show for GWR radio to a weekly audience of and a New York residency for 2 years on Superadio.com Matt's career evolved to include recording and working with acts like MUSE, Alice Jemima, Luke Friend, BBC4’s Composer of the year and working with the BBC on prestigious programmes Question Time, BBC News at Six and Children in Need. Outside his role at dBs Music Matt is a product tester for eurorack manufacturers WMD, Tubbutec, Omsonic and TINRS. Spinning regularly at clubs and festivals in the UK and performing live at modular synthesiser conventions like Superbooth in Berlin and Knobcon in Chicago.
