About Matt White

I’m an experienced executive with a successful track record of leading and transforming technology functions to meet business objectives in conditions of both rapid growth and decline. I maintain a technology agnostic outlook focused on delivering pragmatic, fit for purpose solutions that deliver to business and customer needs, leveraging strong leadership, strategy, communication, problem-solving, financial, and commercial skills. I’ve worked in IT & T for over 25 years having started in highly technical hands-on roles, progressing through technical and team leadership, into management, and finally senior leadership positions. I get great satisfaction from technology transformation, often in environments of resource constraint, technology diversity, and rapid change. I’m attracted to organisations that have a reputation for operating ethically and are striving to deliver quality products that make a difference to the customer. The ongoing transformation agenda, mission, and values at Kaplan continue to be a great fit, an organisation dedicated to our students success. When I’m not working, I’m usually dividing my time between various other passions including my wife and kids, keeping fit, ongoing education, or volunteering for local social and community causes.
